In 25 diffrent countries, thousands of children under the age of 16 have fought in war.In 1988 alone,they numberedas many as 200,000.In 1990, children as young as sevenwere seen in combat because, according to the Directer of the Libarians Red Cross,"those with guns could survive."Some children might wont too become soldiers because they might see themselves fighting for social Justice.A quarter of combats in the various fighting factions were children.
